Honor/Memorial Gifts

What better way to honor the life of a loved one than with a gift that will build impact for years to come? Your honor or memorial gift to Union League Boys & Girls Clubs will ensure your loved ones’ legacy will impact nearly 15,000 youth across the City of Chicago, allowing them to participate in quality after-school programs designed to develop them into productive, responsible, and caring individuals.

To make an honor donation, please scroll down and click either “One Time” or “Monthly”, based on your preference. Then, click the “Dedicate This Gift” button to open a pop-up menu. Once you see the pop-up menu, please click “In Honor Of” at the top, then type the dedicatee’s name into the text box where it says “Dedicatee’s Name”. If you would like someone to receive an email to notify them that this gift has been made, please enter their email into the “Email Address” textbox. Click “Save” to confirm this information, then click “Continue” after making sure all fields have been filled out.

Other Ways to Contribute

Investing in the Next Generation of Leaders Most commonly, planned gifts are used to support the critical, everyday operations of the Clubs, from basketballs and technology to financial literacy and scholarship. By earmarking your gift to support our program operations, your gift will be used to fund ULBGC’s vital programs once it is received, allowing us to do whatever it takes to serve our youth. 

Planned gifts are made through estate plans and include any of the following: 

  • Will or living trust 
  • IRA/retirement fund 
  • Charitable remainder or lead trust 
  • Life insurance policy 
  • Bank/brokerage account
