It’s time to make a difference for children in our Chicago and Gary communities during the annual back-to-school drive, Liftoff for Learning. Donate today to help provide essential school supplies for children who need it most.

Each year, families in our area struggle to provide the necessary learning resources and supplies to support their children’s education.

• On the West Side of Chicago, approximately 40% to 60% of residents live below the poverty line.
• In the city of Gary, approximately 30% live in poverty.

Boeing’s annual drives such as Liftoff for Learning allow employees to experience the impact of collective giving in their communities. Take part in this opportunity by giving back and helping provide children with the resources they need to succeed.

• How to donate: Contribute directly here. This year, Boeing Global Engagement is partnering with Union League Boys & Girls Club to purchase the necessary school supplies for students in our communities.
• Reminder: As a Boeing employee, you can further your impact by logging an offline donation using YourCause to request that the company match your financial and volunteer-hour contributions.
  • Individual volunteer time is matched at $100 for every 10 hours volunteered with the same nonprofit. A team of five or more employees volunteering at least one hour together are eligible for the team match of $20 per employee per hour.
  • Note: The volunteer activity must be registered in YourCause and must be approved by the Boeing Global Engagement focal at the site.
